Overview

UCF Lake Nona Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our team. As a Certified Surgical Technician, you will assist the multi-disciplinary healthcare team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments, and supplies needed for surgical cases
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing patients for surgery, maintaining asepsis, and ensuring proper instrument handling
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and compassion

Requirements

  • Vocational School Graduate
  • Certified Technologist in Surgery (TS-C), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST)
