Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Classified Cyber Security Team Lead to support a specialized cybersecurity unit.

The selected individual will oversee daily on-site operations, manage information system authorizations (such as ATOs, ATCs, etc.), and enforce compliance with cybersecurity mandates.

The candidate will ensure adherence to requirements through the execution of essential information system security tasks on designated systems, employing NISPOM, JSIG, DoD 8500, NIST, ICD, CNSSI, DAAPM, and other pertinent DoD documentation in support of development and operational efforts.

In the absence of the Site ISSM, the Classified Cyber Security Team Lead will assume ISSM responsibilities.

The individual will be expected to engage in tasks that encompass, but are not limited to, managing information systems, contributing to the creation of System Security Plans (SSPs), establishing and maintaining hardware and software configuration management protocols, preparing documentation for government approvals to operate information systems, conducting weekly system audits, managing anti-virus software, developing sanitization procedures for hardware components, overseeing all user accounts, preparing for and supporting inspections, participating in enterprise initiatives, continuous monitoring, self-inspection reviews, Proposal Estimates, and other assigned responsibilities.

Successful candidates should possess knowledge of information technology security principles, various computer/network operating systems, and the Microsoft suite of applications. This dynamic, fast-paced environment embraces DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, and Digital Transformation (DX) to achieve our strategic objectives. This role requires multitasking capabilities and demands strong customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in administering system functions, including security policies, procedures, and account management for Microsoft Windows and Server, as well as Linux/Unix-based systems.


  • Understanding of government/contractor network interconnectivity agreements.
  • Previous experience in SAP, SCI, and Collateral environments.
  • Familiarity with conducting vulnerability assessments, audits, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Experience in security analysis, including security categorizations and risk assessments.
  • Proficient in using eMASS, managing ATO and ATC packages and evaluations.
  • Prior experience in team leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) information systems and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) as well as the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM). Attention to detail and strict adherence to established security protocols.
  • Proven project management skills (Agile Framework), process enhancement, and documentation capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated exceptional internal/external customer relations skills.
  • Previous experience in cyber leadership or L-coded management roles.
