Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team as a Patient Service Coordinator/Medical Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and registers patients, verifies insurance, and collects copays
  • Schedules appointments, takes vital signs, and assists with patient care
  • Provides excellent customer service and maintains a positive attitude
  • Assists with front desk coverage, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries
  • Coordinates scheduling, testing, and bone marrow biopsies
  • Participates in interdisciplinary activities, such as staff meetings and committees
  • Maintains high visibility and anticipates customer needs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three years of direct patient care and/or phlebotomy experience
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
