We are seeking a skilled Social Services professional who is dependable and committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents in affordable housing and the surrounding community. This role fosters an environment that values cultural diversity and encourages resident participation, aiming to create a safe and positive living atmosphere. Responsibilities include coordinating activities and services designed to minimize vandalism, crime, and other illegal activities within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement and manage programs and services that align with Better Tomorrows' five core focus areas:
   a. Health, Wellness, and Nutrition
   b. Academic Support
   c. Financial Literacy
   d. Job Readiness
   e. Social and Community Engagement
2. Facilitate educational initiatives for both children and adults by leveraging community resources and partnerships, including:
   a. Out-of-School Time programs and GED Preparation
   b. Job Readiness workshops and financial literacy sessions
   c. Health and wellness seminars
   d. Community events aimed at fostering safe neighborhoods
3. Develop personalized service goals with residents and assist them in achieving these objectives while tracking their progress.
4. Maintain resource files for referrals to specific services and ensure follow-up on these referrals.
5. Utilize a data management system to monitor case management progress and program outcomes.
6. Produce a monthly community newsletter and calendar of events.
7. Provide support to resident associations and engage volunteers and community partners.
8. Offer exceptional customer service to property management teams, assisting residents in meeting lease obligations.
9. Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of three to five years of experience in social service delivery.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field is preferred.
3. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Organized, reliable, and adaptable to changing needs.
5. Familiarity with affordable housing and local social service resources.
6. Competence in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and other software tools.
7. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends.
8. Capability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
