Job Overview:

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles.
  • Plan and organize repair schedules while sourcing necessary parts.
  • Assist in evaluating mechanical reports and coordinating repair timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Utilize a diverse range of tools and equipment effectively.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organized.
  • Support the training and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Stay informed on the latest technological advancements through ongoing training.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in diesel mechanics.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic software is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Must comply with safety regulations.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to follow directives and work autonomously.
  • Proficient in operating necessary vehicles and equipment.
  • Physical capability to perform job-related tasks.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and use hands effectively.
  • Requires sustained concentration.
  • Visual and physical effort is necessary.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to loud noises, varying weather conditions, and chemicals.
  • Occasional work at elevated heights.
  • Typically operates in a noisy environment.
