Job Overview:

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on diesel, CNG, gas, and electric vehicles.
  • Plan and organize repair schedules while procuring necessary parts.
  • Assist in evaluating mechanical reports and coordinating repair timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Utilize a variety of tools and equipment effectively.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Support the training and orientation of new team members.
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies through ongoing training opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic software is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Must adhere to safety standards.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
  • Proficient in operating necessary vehicles and equipment.
  • Physical capability to perform job-related tasks.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
  • Continuous focus and concentration are necessary.
  • Visual and physical effort is required.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to loud noises, varying weather conditions, and chemicals.
  • Occasional work at heights may be required.
  • Typically, the work environment is loud.
