Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Asphalt Quality Control Technician to join our team at Gulf Coast. As an Asphalt Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, sampling, and testing aggregates, asphalt, and other materials to ensure they meet quality control and quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and sample aggregates, asphalt, and other materials to ensure they meet quality control and quality assurance standards.
  • Test and analyze samples to determine their physical and chemical properties.
  • Monitor and record data to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and report any deviations or trends away from accepted standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous testing and quality experience highly desired.
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds or more and work in a fast-paced environment.
