We are a prominent engineering firm in search of a skilled and committed Quality Assurance Manager.

This position requires a proactive individual capable of implementing control strategies, APQP, PPAP, Six Sigma methodologies, Lean Manufacturing principles, Kaizen events, and Root Cause Analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of relevant experience and be bilingual in English and Spanish.


Key Responsibilities:


As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee the quality assurance team and manage the execution of our quality management framework.


  • Develop, implement, and sustain control strategies to ensure all products comply with our stringent quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate APQP and PPAP processes, including process mapping, FMEA, control plans, and validation procedures.
  • Lead initiatives in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to enhance operational efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events to cultivate a culture of ongoing improvement within the organization.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and rectify the fundamental causes of defects or non-conformities.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality control practices and process enhancement techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to manage a diverse workforce and engage with international stakeholders.

Qualifications:


To excel in this role, you will need a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to quality.


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in quality management within the engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing control strategies, APQP, PPAP, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for inspiring and motivating a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to excellence.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt or similar qualification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
