Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Direct Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and be able to provide exceptional care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as preparing meals, personal hygiene, and cleaning
- Provide habilitation services, including assisting with client service plans and maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Support clients' preferences for community involvement, leisure activities, and work-related activities
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to stay alert and awake, use a computer for data entry, and obtain BLS certification, TB testing, and OPWDD orientation before starting work
