Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, the Vice President of Sales Strategy will be a proactive leader with a deep understanding of educational solutions and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

This role entails overseeing a national sales team across various sectors, with responsibilities including:


1. Leading a team in identifying, acquiring, and expanding strategic client relationships, fostering connections with end users, and promoting business through diverse solution offerings.


2. Coaching and mentoring team members, establishing clear quarterly and annual performance objectives, and utilizing CRM tools to monitor and assess progress.
3. Managing sales pipelines to ensure the creation of business opportunities and effective oversight of team performance.

4. Employing strategic planning tools for account management, opportunity identification, and key client interactions.

5. Guiding the team in building strong relationships with enterprise clients to drive growth and opportunities for Penn Foster Inc.

6. Overseeing quota assignments from leadership and setting quarterly and annual sales targets in collaboration with upper management.

7. Conducting regular business reviews with account executives to streamline workflows, sales processes, and project management.

8. Organizing periodic sales and product training sessions for the team.

9. Fostering a positive workplace culture and utilizing team-building techniques with direct reports.

10. Developing and implementing annual business strategies for targeted markets and accounts in alignment with senior leadership.


Additionally, the Vice President will collaborate with leadership to propose innovative solutions addressing current market challenges, growth strategies, and employee incentive programs.

Travel Requirements:
This position requires frequent travel, with the expectation of up to 80% travel as business needs dictate.

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in sales, educational services, or related fields, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
