Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiology Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Cardiology Clinic, working collaboratively with our team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing assessment, problem identification, planning, and implementation of patient care plans
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to manage patient care and provide education on cardiovascular conditions and treatment options
  • Participate in transition of care management to ensure discharge medications and instructions are understood by patients and/or family members
  • Update medication and problem lists in the Electronic Health Record and ensure follow-up with cardiologists
  • Review daily lab/test results, physician tasks, and clinical worklists as assigned
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California
  • BSN degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a cardiovascular clinic or hospital setting
  • Two years' experience in a critical care or cardiac inpatient unit preferred
  • Two years' experience with telemetry monitoring preferred
