International Staff Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer, Metals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance engineering activities to maximize safety, quality, and productivity in the daily maintenance of plant equipment.
- Conduct safety design modifications and improvements to equipment and facilities.
- Investigate and resolve safety incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop, document, and improve preventive maintenance programs to support equipment availability and throughput.
- Implement predictive maintenance programs using predictive failure techniques such as vibration analysis, thermo-graphic imaging, etc.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment failures and loss of production.
- Assist maintenance and provide technical guidance required to return equipment to operation, minimizing downtime and lost production.
- Provide on-call support.
- Analyze production delay data to establish and document or modify preventive maintenance tasks.
- Generate continuous improvement projects based on production delay data.
- Prepare and review equipment failure/root cause analysis reports and determine/evaluate corrective action items and their impact on preventive maintenance programs.
- Develop cost justifications for improvement projects and corrective actions.
- Develop work orders to detail work requests needed to implement improvement projects or corrective actions.
- Follow-up and audit to ensure proper completion.
- Coordinate outside contractor work activities with maintenance personnel or production personnel as required to minimize impacts to cost and production.
- Responsible for critical spare parts assessments and parts standardization.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures, training, and skill development for all personnel.
- Determine and install appropriate performance metrics that will promote long-term continuous improvement programs consistent with the operating objectives of the department.
- Provide support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
- Perform Project Engineering duties.
- Fulfill Supervisors or Department Manager responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical discipline related to maintenance.
- Formal training or experience with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
- Maintenance Engineering or Maintenance Supervisor position with a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience.
