Job Description

International Staff Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer, Metals to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance engineering activities to maximize safety, quality, and productivity in the daily maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Conduct safety design modifications and improvements to equipment and facilities.
  • Investigate and resolve safety incidents, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop, document, and improve preventive maintenance programs to support equipment availability and throughput.
  • Implement predictive maintenance programs using predictive failure techniques such as vibration analysis, thermo-graphic imaging, etc.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment failures and loss of production.
  • Assist maintenance and provide technical guidance required to return equipment to operation, minimizing downtime and lost production.
  • Provide on-call support.
  • Analyze production delay data to establish and document or modify preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Generate continuous improvement projects based on production delay data.
  • Prepare and review equipment failure/root cause analysis reports and determine/evaluate corrective action items and their impact on preventive maintenance programs.
  • Develop cost justifications for improvement projects and corrective actions.
  • Develop work orders to detail work requests needed to implement improvement projects or corrective actions.
  • Follow-up and audit to ensure proper completion.
  • Coordinate outside contractor work activities with maintenance personnel or production personnel as required to minimize impacts to cost and production.
  • Responsible for critical spare parts assessments and parts standardization.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures, training, and skill development for all personnel.
  • Determine and install appropriate performance metrics that will promote long-term continuous improvement programs consistent with the operating objectives of the department.
  • Provide support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
  • Perform Project Engineering duties.
  • Fulfill Supervisors or Department Manager responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical discipline related to maintenance.
  • Formal training or experience with Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
  • Maintenance Engineering or Maintenance Supervisor position with a minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience.
