Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, facilities, and electrical systems in our stamping and welded assembly plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, facilities, and electrical systems in a stamping and welded assembly plant.
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus up to 480 vac, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repair automated machinery and equipment, including robots.
  • Discuss machine operation variations with supervisors, operators, or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of welding robotics.
  • Millwright experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge in FANUC, Motoman, and/or ALLEN BRADLEY.
  • Proven ability to interact well with coworkers and promote a team attitude.
  • Previous knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and recommend solutions.
Education and Experience
  • Trade school certification as an Industrial/Electrician/Millwright or Industrial/Mechanic.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Journeyman's Card (Preferred).
Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
