Location: Rye Brook, NY
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-time, Benefit Eligible
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct essential patient care processes through moderate and high complexity testing.
- Evaluate, analyze, and report laboratory results accurately.
- Identify the need for corrective actions and implement effective solutions.
- Operate in a dynamic laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
- Promote safety, compliance, and quality assurance practices.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; or a Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with one year of Medical Technology training.
- Minimum of one year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing.
- Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent body.
- Strong analytical, reading, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in using general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, and pipettes.

This position involves routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will receive training on appropriate safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, adhering to all relevant privacy and security standards. Access to PHI is permitted only as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
