Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Associate to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized accounting records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit and process a high volume of invoices
  • Respond to inquiries concerning client and supplier accounts
  • Utilize the three-way match process for payables
  • Resolve invoice issues with suppliers and internal contacts
  • Prepare and maintain account aging and status reports
  • Verify and set up vendor accounts
  • Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, or payments

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Accounting Associate or in a similar role
  • Proven experience in accounting (three-part accounting and three-way matching for AP/AR)
  • Residency in Michigan
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures and industry-specific software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
