Job Title: Coordinator of Children's Faith Formation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to support the Director of Religious Education in the mission to help children grow in their love and knowledge of God and their practice of the Catholic Faith.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the DRE in handling logistics and other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain attendance and registration records for weekly faith formation and monthly sacrament preparation workshops.
  • Provide logistical support to volunteer catechists to ensure they have necessary materials.
  • Answer general information questions via email and phone.
  • Create and send weekly e-newsletters to inform families about ministry events.
  • Assist the DRE in building a supportive community of volunteers and families.
  • Support and instruct families about Elementary Home Study option for faith formation.
  • Create and print certificates and Mass worship aids for First Communion.
  • Assist the DRE with planning and implementation of special programming events.
  • Assist the DRE to facilitate, plan, and implement Vacation Bible School.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting

Preferred Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Bi-Lingual - Spanish
  • Knowledge of Canva
  • Flexibility
  • Creative problem solving
  • Detail-oriented
  • Catholic in good standing with the Church
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and deep love for His Catholic Church
