Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Gonzer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, including hoists, winches, and cargo hooks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including equipment such as hoists, winches, and cargo hooks.
  • Apply standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to design and make adaptations and modifications to equipment.
  • Responsible for equipment design and development, including ProE 3D complex modeling and 3D to 2D decomposition.
  • Produces specifications and outline design, and reports preparation/design reviews.
  • Manages projects using engineering principles and techniques, and recommends modifications following prototype test results.
  • Defines test programs, performs stress analysis, trade studies, and failure analysis.
  • Plans and designs new production processes, and may supervise or coordinate the work of draftsman, technicians, engineers, and others.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Advanced and demonstrated capability of Pro ENGINEER.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably mechanical systems/rotating machinery.
  • New product design experience is a plus.
