Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Engineer at Breeze-Eastern, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for aerospace applications. This includes evaluating, selecting, and applying standard mechanical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to design and make adaptations and modifications to equipment such as hoists, winches, and cargo hooks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently evaluate and apply mechanical engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to design and develop mechanical systems for aerospace applications.
• Design and develop new production processes and equipment, including hoists, winches, and cargo hooks.
• Perform stress analysis, trade studies, and failure analysis to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product designs and processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, design reviews, and test reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of ProE and experience with 3D complex modeling and 2D decomposition.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in aerospace applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
