Position: Critical Care Nurse (RN) - PRN Tier II

Overview:
As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide essential patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards of nursing practice. This role requires a commitment of a minimum of one shift per week, including two weekend shifts per month and two holidays per year, based on staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Execute care plans, including administering medications, collecting specimens, and performing clinical treatments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
  • Observe, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively to the healthcare team, including physicians, patients, and their families.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges, and addressing psychosocial needs.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional health of patients.
