General Physician, P.C. is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist Program at Brooks TLC Hospital in Dunkirk, NY. The ideal candidate will provide clinical support to inpatient adult patients on the PM shift, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, responsive, and quality medical services to Brooks-TLC inpatients, promoting the effective and efficient operation of the Hospitalist Service Program.
- Admit, diagnose, and provide or arrange for all reasonably necessary inpatient medical care services and treatment to each patient referred to the Program by a referring physician.
- Review patient records upon admission, coordinate treatment with the referring physician, and ensure proper documentation and coding of medical records.
- Monitor and evaluate the necessity, appropriateness, efficiency, effectiveness, and safety of medical services ordered and provided to prevent unnecessary utilization of medical services and tests.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited PA/NP program.
- Board certification.
- New York State license.
- DEA registration.
- BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control certifications.
Benefits:
Salary Range:
$115,000-150,000
