Overview

The Technical Operations Supervisor will oversee and manage daily activities of team members responsible for project oversight and support for the functionality provided by the firm's back-office system provider, BetaNXT. This role entails defining project parameters, objectives, and deliverables; supervising project execution and completion; and escalating potential risks and issues to senior management. The supervisor will collaborate closely with BetaNXT and other operational divisions to ensure effective utilization of system capabilities. Additionally, this position will ensure that proper tracking mechanisms are established for projects and initiatives, deliver status reports to management and stakeholders, and conduct supervisory reviews to guarantee quality outcomes from the team. Leadership and guidance will be provided to the Technical Operations team to ensure responsibilities are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the department effectively.
  • Ensure team members meet service level agreements.
  • Utilize available tools and metrics to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversee and maintain departmental policies and procedures.
  • Implement various supervisory controls to ensure accuracy and adherence to established protocols.

  • Maintain awareness of team activities and project statuses.
  • Ensure thorough tracking of all departmental responsibilities and supervisory processes.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
Licenses & Credentials
  • Minimum Required: Series 7 & 63, or the ability to obtain within one year from the start date.
Systems & Technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
