Senior Product Manager, Creator API Innovator

Job Summary

TikTok is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of the next generation of APIs for TikTok One. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, API integrations, and platform development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for TikTok One API.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, product marketing, and operations teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Conduct research with creator agencies and SaaS platforms to identify market needs and opportunities for the API.
  • Create detailed product specifications, define requirements, and make informed decisions to address customer needs and balance tradeoffs.
  • Define key success metrics and work closely with the Data Science team to assess product performance.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including product launch and optimization.
  • 3+ years of experience with API integrations and platform development.
  • Product experience in ad tech, creator tools, or creative platforms.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical and business concepts effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop solutions.
  • Fast learner with sound judgment and creativity.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills in global, cross-functional environments.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product experience in two or more of the following areas: ad tech, creator tools, or creative platforms.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin for product launches and stakeholder communication.
  • Experience in fast-paced settings such as startups or dynamic industries.
