Job Highlights

Epic Travel Staffing is in search of a Travel - Echo Technician/Cardiac Sonographer with the following details: Days / 7a-5:30p, 4x10, 40hrs per week, no weekends; no on-call duties. Length: 12 Weeks Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Vascular experience required
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program
  • RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification
  • AEC-Adult Echocardiography Certification
*Vascular experience is essential. Job Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to evaluate cardiac structures and hemodynamics in line with established standards and organizational policies. Accountable for performing common echocardiography procedures with consistent skill.
Key procedures include:
- Two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiograms
- Exercise/dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- Agitated saline (bubble) studies
- UEA (ultrasound enhancing agent) echocardiograms
- Vascular studies, including venous duplex lower extremities, arterial duplex lower extremities, and identification of venous insufficiency and DVT. Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program
- RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification
- AEC-Adult Echocardiography Certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Valid driver's license with active auto insurance
- Ability to perform NIVL studies
- Ability to conduct DVT studies
