Job Summary:

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac sonography procedures, including two-dimensional transthoracic echocardiograms, exercise/dobutamine stress echocardiograms, agitated saline (bubble) studies, and UEA (ultrasound enhancing agent) echocardiograms.
  • Perform vascular studies, including venous duplex lower extremities, arterial duplex lower extremities, identification of venous insufficiency, and DVT.
  • Assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cardiac sonography techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program.
  • RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
  • AEC-Adult Echocardiography Certification.
  • BLS (AHA).
  • Current DL with active auto-insurance.
  • Ability to complete NIVL studies.
  • Ability to complete DVT studies.
