Key Responsibilities

Express is looking for a Retail Sales Supervisor to enhance our operations.

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing the sales floor and stockroom activities while playing a vital role in training staff and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for customers.

Essential Duties

  • Assist in motivating and developing team members to maximize sales performance.
  • Provide real-time coaching and training to associates to ensure effective operations, customer service, and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with Store Management to assess and provide feedback on team performance.
  • Support the training of associates on operational procedures, product knowledge, and company policies.
  • Implement action plans to optimize store performance.
  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Ensure adequate staffing to deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Manage and authorize the checkout process.
  • Assist with inventory management, including shipments and replenishment.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer service provided by team members.
  • Develop effective schedules to ensure the right staff is in place at all times.
  • Promote a culture focused on delivering outstanding in-store customer experiences.
  • Resolve customer service issues effectively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of products, company policies, and promotions.
  • Provide guidance and support during product launches and visual merchandising efforts.
  • Perform other essential functions as directed by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a retail environment
  • Proficient in technology use (iPads, registers)
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours
  • Meets physical job requirements

Critical Skills & Attributes

  • Previous retail experience is preferred
  • Strong communication skills with customers and team members
  • Proven sales accountability
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Capacity to multitask and manage multiple customers or processes simultaneously

Salary Range
