Mechanical Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Superintendent to join our team at BL Harbert International LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, supervising direct reports, and ensuring project safety standards are met.

• Project Supervision: Supervise all direct responsibilities of the Assistant Superintendent(s), Mechanical QC Manager, Foreman, and craft labor.
• Construction Process: Supervise the project's construction process, including logistics and material deliveries.
• Safety Management: Ensure all project team members are knowledgeable and engaged in project safety standards.
• Reporting: Assist the Project Manager with generation of Site Accident Prevention Plan and Safety Program Management Binder.
• Project Cleanliness: Ensure the project cleanliness is maintained at a high level.
• Safety Training: Maintain safety training matrix for all salary and hourly workers on the project.
• Schedule Development: Schedule development, management, and reporting with Project Manager.
• Project Progress: Project progress, quantity and productivity reporting.
• Labor and Production Planning: Assist project manager in generation of labor and production plan for execution of work in accordance with project schedule.
• Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure day-to-day work production output is sufficient for compliance with project schedule.
• Hiring and Termination: Facilitate hiring and termination of all project craft labor.
• Documentation: Generate daily project documentation, including BLHI daily reports, subcontractor daily reports, and daily progress photos.
• Meetings: Participate in all required project meetings, including superintendents meetings and project team staff meetings.
• Preconstruction Meetings: Lead preconstruction meetings for all definable features of work.
• Contract Compliance: Plan and construct all work in compliance with all requirements of the contract documents.
• Cost Control: Aid the Project Manager in cost control and reporting.
• Job Photos and Progress Documentation: Aid the Project Manager in job photos and progress documentation.
• Subcontractor Risk Management: Enforce subcontractor risk management parameters established by Project Leadership.
• Technical Advisor: Serve as the project team's technical advisor.
• Dispute Resolution: Aid in dispute resolution.
