We are seeking an experienced Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator to join our team at Peckham Industries. This is a full-time position working the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) at one of our liquid asphalt terminals in Rensselaer, NY.

About the Job:

The Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator is responsible for loading asphalt tankers with the correct material, moving product from tank to tank, assisting in the manufacturing process, and maintaining the equipment and the yard. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Tasks:

  1. Loading asphalt tankers with the correct material
  2. Moving product from tank to tank
  3. Assisting in the manufacturing process
  4. Maintaining the equipment and the yard
  5. Coordinating with dispatch to ensure accurate deliveries

Qualifications:

  • Experience running equipment a plus; must be willing to learn to operate mobile equipment
  • Available to work 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
  • Forklift operating experience a plus
  • Proficient English verbal and written communication skills
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license
