At Peckham Industries, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator to join our team. This is a full-time position working the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) at one of our liquid asphalt terminals in Rensselaer, NY.

About the Role:

The Liquid Asphalt Terminal Operator is responsible for loading asphalt tankers with the correct material, moving product from tank to tank, assisting in the manufacturing process, and maintaining the equipment and the yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading asphalt tankers with the correct material
  • Moving product from tank to tank
  • Assisting in the manufacturing process
  • Maintaining the equipment and the yard
  • Ensuring accurate deliveries by coordinating with dispatch
  • Performing plant housekeeping and cleanup

Requirements:

  • Experience running equipment a plus; must be willing to learn to operate mobile equipment
  • Available to work 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
  • Forklift operating experience a plus
  • Proficient English verbal and written communication skills
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license

Compensation:
