Director of Real Estate Operations

Kitsap Credit Union, a not-for-profit and member-owned financial cooperative, is seeking an experienced Director of Real Estate Operations to lead our team at the Harborside office in Bremerton, WA.

Job Summary:

This senior leadership role will oversee the Real Estate lending operations functions, ensuring compliance with established objectives, policies, and procedures. You will be responsible for directing and managing a team to support the production of profitable mortgage and home equity loans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Real Estate loan operations and administer credit union real estate lending programs consistent with established objectives.
  • Assist with long-term planning and execution of strategic lending goals and provide recommendations to management on changes to products, loans policies, and procedures.
  • Assess and employ organizational skills to improve operational workflows, ensuring efficient and effective lending while promoting interdepartmental cooperation.
  • Manage Real Estate Lending Operations' productivity standards, track production, and monitor the quality and quantity of work to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance of loan processing disclosures to GSE/RESPA guidelines.
  • Deliver prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional service to members and resolve their problems and complaints fairly and promptly.
  • Exercise responsibility for delivering financial services to Credit Union members in conformance with KCU's lending policies, underwriting guidelines, interest rates, and terms.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of current experience in real estate lending, including production, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, secondary marketing, and compliance.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Must be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System within 30 days of hire and comply with the SAFE Act regulations.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $93,594.98 to $116,993.73 depending on experience, plus a 12% potential incentive of base pay.
