Your Role

As a District Sales Manager - Civilian, you will spearhead a team of field sales professionals, crafting and executing strategies to optimize business growth. Your leadership will be crucial in developing your team to drive revenue and meet individual, team, and organizational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs through thorough research and insights.
  • Support your team by actively participating in and leading prospect meetings.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of weekly territory pipelines and forecasting to coach team members on effective closure strategies.
  • Engage in territory planning and development, fostering relationships to drive revenue and assist your team in closing deals.
  • Promote a high-performance sales culture that achieves results in bookings, sales development, and forecast accuracy while mentoring your team.
  • Possess in-depth technical knowledge of our offerings to address customer challenges holistically.
  • Oversee team selling opportunities and ensure accountability for achieving ambitious goals.
  • Communicate effectively with leaders at all levels, including C-suite executives, fostering open and trusting relationships.
  • Influence others successfully through effective change management.
  • Build a winning team through recruitment, hiring, and training while upholding core values.
Qualifications

Experience Required

  • Familiarity with SaaS architectures, preferably in networking and/or security sectors, with a focus on SASE technology.
  • Experience with channel and partner sales models.
  • Proven track record of creating high-performing teams in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing sales pipelines and achieving results year over year.
  • Highly motivated individual with a strong execution focus and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • History of consistently meeting revenue targets while emphasizing team development.
  • Ability to manage significant client escalations and issues effectively.
  • Excellent influencing skills, both internally and externally, with the ability to build consensus across various teams.
  • A collaborative leader who values teamwork and rapport with cross-functional teams.
