We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our team and provide technical design services for a range of building projects. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects and teams, providing technical design on assigned projects.
  • Assist in producing construction documents for new buildings, renovations, and additions to existing facilities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Coordinate project designs with other disciplines.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical building codes and ability to perform accurate load calculations.
  • Mechanical/HVAC design experience in retail, commercial, boilers, chillers, and related markets.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP engineering modeling tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering.
  • EIT/PE preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong desire to continue learning, advance professionally, and work in a fast-paced, design team environment.
