MUSC Health & Medical University of SC seeks a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This role requires one year of LPN experience and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Job OverviewThis is an employee position in the MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) entity, providing healthcare to patients within the rural health network throughout South Carolina.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000-$85,000 based on experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, employer-sponsored retirement plan, paid time off, extended sick leave, and more.
Responsibilities- Provide patient-centered care as a partner and adviser, assisting and supporting patients to manage their health care.
- Apply critical reasoning and astute clinical judgment to expedite appropriate care and treatment.
- Participate in recording and reporting responsibilities, documenting findings relevant to patients' health care status or plan of care.
- Clean and stock examination rooms and/or other supply areas.
- Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
- One year of LPN experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
