About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician - Resident Medication Assistant to join our team at Atria Park - Park of Lafayette. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the daily administration of medication to residents, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Maintain resident medication programs, including medication distribution, ordering, and reception, file management, and storage.
  • Enhance the lives of older adults by assisting with doctor's appointments, pharmacies, and daily living activities.
  • Exhibit ethical behavior and work cooperatively with other talented team members in daily support of residents.
  • Receive on-the-job training and discover opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Requirements
  • Certified Medication Aide, First Aid, and/or CPR certifications, if required by state.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
