Emergency Medical Technician

St. Francis Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage medical emergencies, trauma cases, and environmental incidents under the supervision of a staff nurse or physician.
- Provide patient care based on individual needs within the scope of practice.
- Maintain a safe environment and perform tasks under the direction of the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Basic EMT Training or ER experience required.
- Current BLS certificate required upon hire and maintained current.
- Current ACLS and PALS certificates required 30 days upon hire and maintained current.
- Certified/Licensed EMT by the state certifying agency/entity required.
St. Francis Medical Center offers a competitive compensation package, including paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more benefits. The current compensation range for this role is $20.46 to $26.67.
