Job Summary

Progressive Pain and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including preparing patients for examination, taking vital signs, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as preparing equipment and supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant or in a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) systems.
