About the Role

The IT Manager will provide technical direction and leadership for a team of high-performing IT Officers and IT Technicians, ensuring the delivery of exceptional day-to-day support and seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT Department on one of our Excellence Class vessels, providing technical direction and guidance to the team.
  • Ensure high-quality IT systems support, advanced troubleshooting, and maintenance for a complex technical environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize downtime and recover services quickly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with all business functions to deliver technology that supports our business ambition to deliver unforgettable holiday happiness experiences.
  • Take the lead on high-impact incidents, liaising between ship and shoreside teams, and providing timely updates to Shipboard Management and Senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Degree or HND level qualification in an IT-related subject.
  • ITIL Service Management (V3 minimum).
  • Experience in managing technology service teams in a complex business environment.
  • Previous experience in an IT technical support role.
  • In-depth understanding of all aspects of IT Operations, including Incident, Problem, Request Fulfilment, and Change Management.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Desirable
  • 5+ years of Maritime IT experience (with career progression).
  • Advanced IT certification.
  • Experience in a hospitality environment.
Certifications
  • Valid ENG1 medical certificate or equivalent for the duration of each voyage.
  • Completion of Basic Training STCW.
