Job Title: Director, Student Recruitment & Family Engagement

Johns Hopkins University is seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to serve as the Director, Student Recruitment & Family Engagement. This role requires a collaborative, energetic, and forward-thinking individual with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of enrollment management, and a passion for student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet virtual and site-based enrollment and revenue targets.
  • Identify target markets and segments and devise targeted outreach and awareness campaigns to reach prospective students.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the Enrollment Management unit, marketing, and academic departments to align recruitment efforts with institutional goals and priorities.
  • Promote initiatives to achieve diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice goals in terms of the recruitment and retention of students.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in student recruitment, business development, consultative sales, admissions, or related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and achieving recruitment goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire prospective students, families, and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute data-driven recruitment strategies.
  • Knowledge of enrollment management principles, best practices, and trends in higher education.
  • Experience with CRM systems, student information systems, and other recruitment technology tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of CRM experience (Salesforce preferred), territory management, and budget management required.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging advanced learner trends and best practices preferred.
