About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Affordable Property Manager to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG). As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our 42-unit low-income housing apartment community in Downtown Portland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including marketing, income certification, maintaining property integrity, and screening prospective residents.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Collect rents, prepare reports, and perform bookkeeping tasks, including basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with residents, vendors, and other stakeholders, using strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner, using good judgment and decision-making skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two (2) years of previous customer service experience and one (1) year of previous property management experience are required.
  • Skills: Basic experience with MS365, including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel, is preferred. Previous Yardi Property Management Software experience is also a plus.
  • Education: A high school degree or equivalent is required.
