We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team in the Faculty Group Practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all diagnostic ultrasound procedures for the GYN practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with patients by identifying themselves and verifying the patient's identity, providing clear explanations of the procedure and equipment, and maintaining patient privacy at all times.
  • Navigate and perform advanced scans using appropriate equipment, utilizing highly technical equipment to produce scans and conduct procedures.
  • Write reports based on the completion of the scan, documenting the scan according to departmental procedures, and entering, maintaining, and recording all pertinent data.
Requirements:
  • Registered as an American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
  • Experience in a specialty capacity required.
  • Completion of an approved ultrasound technology educational program.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $103, $114,225.07 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
