We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Per Diem Radiology Technician to join our team at Family Health Centers at NYU Langone.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Radiology Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality radiology services to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist radiologists and other medical staff with imaging procedures
  • Operate radiology equipment, including X-ray machines and ultrasound devices
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Develop and process radiographic images
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a radiology technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
  • Current certification in radiology technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
