Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, positioning, and maintaining clean living conditions.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Document patient information, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active, unencumbered CNA certification
  • Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
