Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

At Freedom Pointe at The Villages, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, nail care, and toileting. You will also transport residents to and from activities and appointments, assist with treatments and collection of specimens, and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, nail care, and toileting.

  • Assist with treatments and collection of specimens.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Participate in in-service education programs and staff meetings.
  • Support nursing staff with the orientation of new residents.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or participation in on-the-job orientation leading to the certification required.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
