We are seeking a highly skilled Paraprofessional to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' lives.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working with high school students, focusing on special education populations with Down syndrome and autism. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with assigned classroom teachers, school administration, and ProCare Therapy staff to provide individualized support and enhance student learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with diverse abilities and backgrounds in a school setting
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
  • Provide physical and emotional support as needed, adhering to safety protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred)
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (a plus)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Patient and empathetic attitude towards students of diverse abilities and backgrounds
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $17-21 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time hours are available, Monday through Friday.
