About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a NICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to neonates and infants in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical nursing duties for neonates and infants, including assessments, interventions, and support for developmental stages.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to acute changes in neonate/infant's condition, as well as emergency situations in the NICU.
  • Care for patients requiring newborn care, feeding, IV, medications, respiratory care, and stabilization for transport.
  • Provide support and teaching to the family unit, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with all members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Current license from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia.
  • ADN degree (BSN preferred).
  • Current BLS & NRP certification.
  • At least two years of experience in a Level 3 NICU.
