Radiologic Technology Professor

SUNY Broome Community College is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill a full-time, 10-month tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor/Instructor in the Radiologic Technology Program. The successful candidate will serve as the Clinical Coordinator and be responsible for teaching courses, laboratory, and clinicals in various modalities.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical coordination, didactic and laboratory instruction, student advisement, participation in accreditation and assessment activities, and committee assignments for the department and the College.
- Teaching courses, laboratory, and clinicals in various modalities, as assigned.
- Performing related duties supportive of the educational program, including aligning and coordinating clinical education with didactic instruction, engaging in didactic and/or clinical teaching, supporting the program director, contributing to accreditation and assessment processes, and staying updated on professional disciplines and educational methodologies.
- A Master's degree in an appropriate field with either three (3) years of teaching experience or an appropriate combination of teaching, relevant work experience, and scholarly activity.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in health, education, or a related field with work experience in an area appropriate to the teaching field strongly preferred.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration as well as NYS Licensure.

- Consistent, uninterrupted pay periods.
