Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Guthrie Clinic. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating stationary and portable x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated regions of the body. You will also supervise and instruct students in the clinical areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, including adjusting radiographic equipment and accurately positioning patients.
  • Perform quality assurance on images generated prior to submission to radiologists.
  • Relate to patient information pertaining to ordered procedures and follow protocols in dealing with patients with infectious diseases.
  • Demonstrate competency in patient preparation, including informed consent and injection of IV contrast.
  • Work cooperatively with other technologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to maintain high standards in Radiology.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including cleaning and restocking rooms, supervising students, and transporting portable equipment.
Requirements
  • Graduation of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program and must obtain ARRT certification within 6 months of employment.
  • Minimum of six months preferred as a registered technologist in a Radiology Department of a general acute-care hospital.
