Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthetist to join our team. Our integrated academic healthcare system offers a challenging and rewarding environment for experienced professionals.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is around $180,000 per year, based on national averages for certified registered nurse anesthetists in the Atlanta area.

As a Cardiac Anesthetist with Emory Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing general anesthesia for surgical procedures, including heart and lung transplants, VADs, ECMO, CABGs, robotic CABGs, conventional valve surgery, minimally invasive valve surgery, VATs, and robotic lobectomies. You will also be responsible for supervising student anesthetists, participating in managing patient needs at both Emory University Hospital and Emory University Hospital Midtown, and having the opportunity to participate in clinical research.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise student anesthetists and manage patient needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care
  • Participate in clinical research projects

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program
  • Maintain biannual certification through submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs)
