About the Role

We're seeking an inspired professional to join our team of multi-disciplinary experts as an Electrical Engineer. As a key member of our Northwest Built Environment market, you'll utilize your design expertise to dream big ideas on various and complex design and design/build projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design all Electrical deliverable documents and the design and specification of medium and low voltage power distribution, motor control, standby and emergency generation systems, lighting systems, fire alarm, lightning protection, grounding, and security systems, to relevant codes of practice.
  • Develop high quality power distribution and lighting calculations, technical notes and reports.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure results.
  • Plan and design electrical systems for buildings and facilities, including commercial and institutional projects.
  • Manage multiple projects while helping mentor in the development and growth of less experienced engineers both locally and globally.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering field.
  • Years of professional experience.
  • Electrical design experience of various types of facilities and buildings, utility systems, design and interpretation of facility electrical diagrams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the preparation of electrical plans, specifications, estimates, proposals and/or reports.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
  • Experience with short circuit, selective coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis studies.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE). If not an Idaho PE, must be able to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.
  • Proficiency in lighting design (including experience with lighting design software, AGi32 or equivalent).
  • Practical, hands-on experience and/or Construction experience.
  • Revit, 3D AutoCAD or equivalent.
