Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at 1ST-RECRUIT LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life insurance and annuity, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including C-Level executives and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop project plans and schedules.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
  • 10+ years' experience in financial services, preferably life insurance and annuity, with LOMA ALMI or FLMI a plus.
  • 10+ years' experience managing cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring.
  • Skilled in multiple project management methodologies, including agile/scrum and waterfall.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex subject matter.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with C-Level executives and senior leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint, as well as tools like Jira/Confluence.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
Work Environment

5 days onsite at our office in Dallas, TX.
