Medical Laboratory Technician

As a Medical Laboratory Technician at IDEXX Distribution, Inc., you will play a vital role in our fast-paced laboratory environment. Your primary responsibility will be to perform laboratory testing that helps veterinarians diagnose and treat pets. You will work closely with our team to ensure the highest quality results and contribute to the development of new diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory testing using automated analyzers, microscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or pet biopsy samples.
  • Set up and run lab tests, and read and release results according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Specialize in one or more areas, including Hematology, Chemistry/Endocrinology, Urinalysis, Cytology, and Immunology/Serology.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work the overnight shift.
  • High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-, 3-, or 4-year degree in a Science-related field preferred.
  • Experience as a Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT or MT) is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, love for teamwork, and ability to work reliably and precisely.
